Davies is fantastic. Love his energy and passion. Is he normally like that or is it adrenaline?

Problem is we have some skillfull players that lack certain aspects in their game making it impossible to play any decent known tactics. I.e Barkley will never manage to make a throughball, Deulofeu will never run home and have ant decent tackle. Lukaku will never press the defenders, Barry is too slow to close down etc etc.

I would try something unorthodox if I was Koeman. Play 4 at the back with Williams/Mori and Coleman and Baines beeing extremely offensive. Put Barry in the centre of an defensive mid three, only opening up space with his passes, never going to far up the pitch. Beside him we put Gana and McCarthy/Davies. They can join the attack but has to put cover on our backs when they go roaming.

Then we skip wingers as I havent seen any decent wingplay the whole year, putting Mirallas or Deulofeu together with Barkley just behind Lukaku in the middle. Barkley is given the freedom to do whatever he wants except trying through-passes. That will be Deulofeu or Mirallas task.

We need more penetration, as we all do, and Barkley alone in that position is not working as he doesn't have the vision or intelligence to play people in behind the defence - Mirallas and Deulofeu has. 4-3-2-1 may be our solution.

Davies looked promising.
Mirallas actually played very well.
Barry looked fuckin woeful
Everyone else was a mixture of shite and very average.

The quality of our team is very poor, thankfully the transfer window is only a couple of days away. We need a decent number 10, probably 2 CM (one of which a DM) a new GK, a new CB and someone to challenge at LB.

'mid table' is the perfect description for us at the minute.

We aren't good enough all the time. We are what we are and people need to come to grips with that.

We're shit. We're utter shite. That's what we are. This is what you get when we're this shitty.

So be patient, and let koeman figure it out. Because it's obviously not going to take half a season and 1 transfer window.

I think this post is alright, but it's a bit over the top. :eh:

Even though it was a disappointing result and we should be beating tosh like Hull, last season, we would have lost that game, so it's nice to see us at least have the character to come from behind twice, especially as their second goal should not have stood.

We gonna put a 90 minute performance in tonight then lads? Gotta happen sometime, by the law of averages, surely?

What's that? Behind to a shite early goal from a corner, and then scramble a late uninspiring draw? Standard.
I'm gonna copy your predictions in future mate.

Was I the only one who thought we played any football tonight ? The last two games we have dominated. We should have won easily tonight, should have won one pen at least, hit the woodwork 3 times, their free kick they scored from, was not a free kick. We had more possession and were the better team, wasn't our night.

It certainly wasn't the disaster that was being portrayed earlier.

It's not easy when you let in an early goal and then go behind again to a good free kick / poor keeping.

There were too many moments of poor play and disorganisation but there were others where we were comfortably on top and could / should have scored more.

We also kept going and could / should have knicked it.

We do lose too many 50/50s though. That needs sorting.

Spot on post, especially about the 50/ 50 challenges, there was one where we had 4 players surrounding one of theirs and he still ran away with the ball ! If only we could clone Gana.

Haha

Proper went off in here.

Should've won, but wasn't that bad a performance.

Typical 7th place performance really.
