Assuming the price is right, would you have him?  Would be a great replacement for Piennar (heaven forbid).  Had a great run in the CL, and a good World Cup too.

Without question but I'd think he'd be comfortably out our price range and have higher placed clubs than us interested.

Well he was linked to a number of large clubs, specifically Arsenal and I think AC Milan, Wenger complimented him in the media too.

He's a cracking player and best thing to come out of Japan since Nakata but he would be no replacement for Pienaar, Honda plays in the centre not wide.

Wenger loves Japs so that's not too surprising

Racist...

And Honda is originally a winger.

He was one of the stand out players for me in the world cup , and from what I saw and presuming it wasn't a flash in the pan , I would love him here !

Very good player, but as we've no money...
VVV Venlo sold him for about 10m euros, I assume he'll be costing more now.

Great player and would also be a good marketing move.

My thoughts exactly. A Moyes type signing

A second rate national team talisman like Cahill, Pienaar and Donnovan.

He is a good player, but I don't think he is suitable for EPL. He might not adapt himself for the EPL pace.

yeah but that's the same with pienaar, he's not naturally a left winger we just play him there
