my dad introduced me to Everton  as avery young kid... and I've been lucky enough to be involved in the club and also be part of the success of the club over all the successful years of which there was many...

I introduced my son to Everton.... and at 27 years of age he's seen no success at all (apart from the '95 cup win) when he was 6....

so am I pleased we can now contend financially YES

am I bothered if we "buy" success NO..

Do I want other fans to be jealous of us YES...

Do I want us to "hated" like manu and them for our success...YOU BETTER FKKIN BELIEVE IT....

We can't really. We are still poor in comparison to top6 clubs.
I don't know where the legend of rich and powerful Moshiri came from. He's got less money than Stoke's owner.
He has brought some stability to the club, paid the debts, without him we couldn't build a new stadium, all that is very nice but that's it.

Yes we are...but still in a financially better place than most.....We have no debt....how much debt do Manu/Lpool/Spurs have ?

If the fact he is a recorded Billionaire...then yes it is a legend !! He's also got less money than Bill Gates and the Duke of Westminster...so what...

I thought were 80million in debt to Moshiri, he just gave us an interest free loan?
And I agree we are in a better place, but he also hasn't put his hand in his pocket to strengthen us on the pitch yet which is what I'm waiting to see.

oh I think he has...but yet to make the marquee signing we all crave for.....

we all want a top signing but then we contradict ourselves as..... "we don't have CL so who will come to us ?"

This. Don't know about anyone else but I became increasingly sick and tired with being " cash strapped Everton ", while seemingly all the other clubs were throwing money round like confetti and pinching our better targets, we crawled along scrambling for last minute bargains. Is it any  wonder we have won fuck all for 20 odd years, was it any wonder are ground, used to be the best in the country, became practically derelict. No we have hopefully moved on to bigger and better things and I welcome it with open arms.
I feel what you say ,been there and got the "t" shirt but we will hopefully never do a Man City ,we have been recruiting behind the scenes to do what a true blue wants and bring the lads through .I know what Ronald said about 26/27 year olds but remember he has given 5 or 6 lads a chance .I think/hope he was just trying to quieten the furore  with the under23's winning the league an he above all knows what he wants ,for example if Beni Beangime doesn't feature soon I will be truly shocked

I don't think their squad is anywhere near as good as what we already have here though. 100 million isn't a lot though really. Not when United are splashing £89 mill on Pogba.
