Schneiderlin? The guy isn't match fit. We made this mistake too many times last season. He shouldn't start today, I'd give him the second half

He's nailed on to get man of the match

..............I'd go the other way - start him and sub him when he runs out of steam.
We are special ,we are Everton.

I'd defo start Schneiderlin, he's not been injured. He's young and fit, will have been training every day, playing practice matches and reserve matches when at United.

Backing him to be our best player today
You think Lou Bega knocked it out of the park with Mambo number 1?!No but he kept at it!

It's a huge risk as we can't have any passengers if we're serious about 'attempting' to close the gap between us and United, we need to win today.

I'd bring him on second half rather than wheeling him out against Man City to have his arse handed to him.

Although if he starts and plays a blinder i will stand corrected (and be very pleased  ;))
Ahh.....Boucheenie i presume

Trust me and Ronald my good man

I've assessed his fitness. He can start!

(TBH I just love seeing new signings play!)

If schneirdelein plays he has to start, give his all then be subbed

It'd be pointless to bring him on and expect him to get up to speed of the game

Simply simply lovely

I reckon we'll play well today, graft our hearts out, defend like lions and cause them real problems.

Unfortunately, we'll let an unlucky goal or a piece of brilliance will beat the keeper, and we'll lose or draw.

Then we'll totally fail to take that level of performance into the next game for some mistifying reason.
I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.

I think Schneiderlin is one of the more practical grounded modern footballer types. Very professional and mature. He's one of the few IMO who will be able to fit into most systems without too much fuss and with a consummate ease. Mourinho probably has his Modus Operandi spot on. What he had to say about him when he left United and signed for us is very likely not far off the mark.

Steinbeck's maxim: “Socialism never took root in America because the poor see themselves not as an exploited proletariat but as temporarily embarrassed millionaires.”.

Isn't it about now that someone pops up with something like

'My ITK source tells me Pennington is back in the side and it's a back 3. Schneiderlin starts and is captain, Lookman comes in for his debut. No place for Lukaku in the squad as he is trying to force through a move to China

This lad gets everything right. He knew about the Usmanov stuff back in 2003'

I've heard Osman has made the squad.

Looking forward to see how Scneiderlin and Barkley get on . Also hoping against hope that a mobile midfielder brings about some movement in Lukaku . The other thing is that if Lukaku just strolls around I can't wait for Koemann to have the option to sub him .

Solely based on the fact he put a pic on instagram this morning about it being match day
