I'm still in shock.

I was watching Rogue One (for the second time) with my Daughter and the ex, so I missed it, flicked on the phone after fighting back the tears at the poignant CGI cameo at the end, and I was totally aghast

Upon watching the highlights, I thought the collective effort and energy levels were incredible; I think maybe Koeman and Kluitenberg's methods are finally starting to pay dividends.

Davies and Barkley showed real class.

But Davies' contribution overall was outstanding.

I genuinely love him already

Was made up for him scoring, and then little nippy, zippy Lookman saucily nutmegging Bravo, was the icing upon the icing and the weird glacÚ cherry.

The way they all mobbed him shows how they've taken to him.

Oh, and the much maligned Robles and Munes Fori were both great; I'm a big fan of a bucaneering, brain-farting CB, just as much as I am a maverick Winger.

Feels beautiful to be a Blue  :smug:

This model uses a baseline gathered from 7,000,000 passes - made in 4 season (2012/13 - 2015/2016) across 6 leagues (La Liga, Premier League, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1 and Eredivisie) - to rate player passing performance.

Couple of nice stats at the end of this. Davies and lookman became the 16th and 17th teenagers to score a premier league goal for Everton. Joint highest with arsenal.
Lookman the first player to score on debut for Everton since Eto'o

I woke up and am watching the game again and Davies's goal again and again... also that pass from Barkley to Lukaku (at 3-0) when he nearly scored his second goal late in the game... brilliant pass.

First time we have done it for 90 mins this season and against a quality side where a lack of concentration cost you dear . City are not shit and the concentration needed against a team that has 70% possession and the likes of Silva , De Bruyne and Aguero is immense . Davies is going to be some player and the way he got back on his feet after his lung buster to score made me smile ( no mean feet ) . Lookmans goal just made me laugh as it came from a Stones error and he looks like Arnold off Different Strokes . Credit like someone else said to Funes Mori and Robles who had excellent games although it was the first faultless team performance this season . Loved Koemann standing over Otamendi and laughing as well ( even Otamendi thought it was funny ) . A great game and I really hope we take the same attitude into games against lesser teams . I could even see myself becoming positive about Everton again .

We were fucking boss but City were embarrassing.Their fans should be livid with that performance. They look like a half-a-billion pound rendition of a Martinez team.
