We're gonna have to pay an absolute fortune for Keane so I just can't see it.

Reckon we'll fail with a couple of big bids and get someone in for the u23's

Wouldn't be surprised at Keane, the young keeper from Sheffield United, and an attacking player (on loan w/ option to buy, maybe?) that we haven't really been linked to. Maybe Kone is sold, too.

This is more or less what I would hope to expect for today, as a minimum really. Koeman didn't sound overly positive about us moving in for anyone. As already mentioned, a loan for a decent striker with an option to buy would be a must for me today. Losing Rom for any extended period of time would cost us money in league placings, I'm convinced of that. This is my main concern for this last day of the window. The manager and his stuff must be aware of the risk involved in not covering that option.

Wine ready - check, dinner ready - check, evening cleared of all activities - check.

Ok, let the games begin.

Yeah, I'm less confident we'll do any business now, after listening to Koeman. He seems resigned to waiting until the summer as that's when his targets will be available. Basically, we aren't desperate - which makes a nice change!

I'm a bit baffled about Gabbiadini going to Soton for an initial £14m and us seemingly not interested. Assume we've moved on to other targets, but who are they? Think it's generally agreed we need another striker.

Would fucking love a wildcard!

1-2 maybe, but they will most likely be u23's. Can't see a serious first team addition. Obviously not for the reasons of the past. But I just don't think any targets are available.

Don't think there's ANY chance Keane would be allowed to leave today. And quite frankly we don't need him this season. He'd be better off staying at Burnley until the summer.

Maybe an out of the blue loan or backup winger/striker may come in.

Glad we have a manager with a backbone, if he doesn't want him at our club so be it.
