For 10 whole minutes.... Whilst Citeh threw everyone forward looking for an equaliser.
and most of the time saha was up againest toure and kompany and still did it

i though it was a slap in the face to him that after his best performance of the season cahill starts ahead of him and then yak comes off the bench before him

Christ. You really don't get it do you?

10 minutes doesn't constitute a performance.

well actually it does because he was fantastic when coming on and showed signs of improvement on his behalf

glad he is in and hoping he plays well and not like the rubbish he has done for nearly all of the season

and i didnt say anything about a gun performance

what i said was he came on and did very well which he did

We're down to 9 men before a balls kicked.

Saha and Arteta are ghosts of football past

If someone comes on and scores 2 goals to turn a game on its head in 10 minutes does it still not count? You can say it's not any indication of how he'd play over 90 minutes but it's unfair to dismiss it altogether because it was a decent cameo.

I'm talking about the case in point.

He came on for 10 minutes and held the ball up relatively well, but being that city were throwing everyone forward he was hardly under massive pressure to do so.

He did what was required and expected, that's all.

Kick in the belly on Saha, corner of the box - deffo- pen.

You can take that to the bank.

Ooh, shoulda' been 1-0, flick on by Jones to Fuller, waltzes past Distin, snatches low shot just past the post.

You can take that to the bank.

We have control of the play, Stoke using hoofball. Our let down, no-one upfront as a spearpoint.

You can take that to the bank.
