You'd think that the club have the infrastructure to do the whole thing in house.

If you can't go, you tell the club, they simply add your seat back into the available pot (much as they already do with Cup games for STH to secure their own seat?). If it sells, at the standard single ticket price for that game, that amount (less a minimal admin fee, a couple of quid?) is then credited to your account, perhaps paying off your installment or even going into credit towards your next ST, or cup ticket, etc?

Club keeps full control, fans get a fair deal, some external company doesn't profit and the cockwombles profiteering off fellow blues, lose.

Problem with that would be people buying season tickets wrecklessley with the intention of only attending the Derby, Man.U , Chelsea, and City, might just be too many of that type.

What stops them from doing that currently and using Stubhub to sell them for a lot more?

I suppose you have a point, it would be better if the club took it in house, they could then restrict the number of re sales perhaps to 5 per season ?

If it's in house they could control it however they want. Setting a low number might be a bit unfair given how many games get moved to various times and days now? Maybe tie it in to EitC, with a limit to stop selling enough games to cover the ST cost, maybe the deal is a percentage goes to the charity, and that percentage increases with each subsequent resale?

It's something I can't stand when it comes to spectator sports. Most people are genuinely fanatical about their teams. It's a shame that peoples passion is so easily penalised by unscrupulous users. I'm not giving it the moral stance here. It's just a genuine shame for those who are priced out of going and miss out.

Same is true of the live music industry. It's a fucking piss take.

Has anyone got a price list and game category list? Struggling to find either of these on the OS, sure they used to have something somewhere.. Found the ST prices but nothing more beyond 'From 38 Adult'

OK, how about you have to sign up for the resale scheme, maybe pay a 5 charge to join it (covering Admin costs for the club). You release tickets back to the club to resell at standard prices. The difference between your 'per ticket' price and the standard price goes directly to EITC. EFC can deny access to the scheme if more than a certain number of tickets are sold.

ST PriceGame Refund Cat A/BCharity
42022.1138/4215.89+4
48525.5339/4313.47+4
52527.6442/4614.36+4
55028.9544/4915.05+5
56529.7445/5015.26+5

Solve the whole stub hub problem, and makes a bundle for the charity to boot, allowing EFC some good publicity for that without actually having to spend any money.
