Would like to see this team:

Howard

Neville Jagielka Distin Baines

Coleman Osman Fellaini Pienaar

Anichebe Beckford

Everton 5:3 Spurs
Agree would like to see this team, but I'm not expecting it.  Arteta is really out of form and putting him on the bench may force him to pull his socks up.  Beckford really deserves a run of starts in the team, Saha and Yak have both had a run so surely he should be given a chance.
You think Lou Bega knocked it out of the park with Mambo number 1?!No but he kept at it!

enough with the flawed logic please

that is the actual team tho according to the bbc, good to see heitinga back at his best position, centre back.  Glad Beckford has been given a start

Fair play that weve tried to take the game to them, easily Sahas best game for us so far this season.  Spurs do look dangerous though.  Makes me think that 4-4-2 can work for us

shit myself when Louis played that pass then!stay up top!we have played the better football tonight although it does scare me every time Van Der Vaart, Bale or Lennon get the ball.  Spurs most dangerous attacks are alehouse balls to Crouch though whereas we are creating more brazil-esque passing moves

Dowie on the commentary then 'crouch doesn't get the credit he deserves for how good he is with his feet'...ive never seen a game where crouch plays when the commentator doesnt say that hes got good feet for a big man!

Fucking brilliant!A more worthy match winner than Seamus Coleman today you are not likely to see.  That lad has balls of steel! All round today though we were excellent.  Saha and Arteta clearly must have realised they had been playing below standard as both were excellent tonight.  Distin amazing again, Pienaar gave it his all, if he does end up leaving then he can hold his head high as he deserves as much money as anyone at Everton for the amount of hard work he puts in, let alone the fact that he is pure class.  And once again Marouane Fellaini was absoloute magic

Great to see so much positivity on here after reading some pretty depressing posts in the past few days!this season has been pretty bad so far but this was a great performance tonight from the whole team, lets just hope we can maintain the form from tonights game for the rest of the season.  Was a bit shocked to hear Hansen on match of the day say that he thought spurs edged the first half tho!i thought we edged the first half and steamrolled the 2nd!...actually come to think of it, it was Alan Hansen and he does tend to love giving us zero credit!
