It's just not fair to make any sort of proper assessment of him yet. Many players take at least a year to adapt to the Prem/living in England anyway, even when coming into a settled, organised team. He's coming into a team with numerous new first team players, where the manager has yet to find a cohesive shape. I feel like I've seen plenty to like about his game, and think some of the criticism is ridiculous.

The highway's jammed with broken heroes on a last chance power drive. Everybody's out on the run tonight but there's no place left to hide. Together, Wendy, we can live with the sadness, I'll love you with all the madness in my soul.

A few of the passes and layoffs he made yesterday were quality,  but he seems to get caught on the ball far too often. He needs, from what I can see, to up the pace of his game. He's got the ability, I'm fairly sure of that. He just needs to adapt, but Everton fans are not the most patient people in the world where it comes to a player coming up with the goods.

He was at the Ajax game today and got a great ovation apparently

Must have something about him to be so loved by them

Hopefully we get to see it soon. It's fair to give him and Sandro time to adapt
You think Lou Bega knocked it out of the park with Mambo number 1?!No but he kept at it!

The thing is, we all expected this.

Yet, he's been thrown in from the start more often than not despite Tom Davies already being brilliant enough that there's no need to rush Klaassen into things.

But then you're risking your 19 year old prodigy.
I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.

Koeman must think, and I can kinda see the logic, that, if it's not working for klaasen he thinks Davies can turn it around

Whereas, he Probably thinks klaasen couldn't

Simply simply lovely

He clearly has a great football brain he just needs a few months to bed in to get to grips with the country and the pace of the game here.

Bald by 26 you mean?

He fits in more ways than one. Going to be brilliant this guy. Everyone is going to be amazed towards the end of the season and next season.

Don't want to get too deep here but maybe going 'back to say goodbye' to the Ajax fans suggests he's a sensitive and caring guy. This might be like a closure thing as he may be homesick etc.. we need to show him he's wanted here and give him time.

I am 100% certain Klaassen will be a success at Everton. There's a knobhead behind me in the match who only opens his mouth to slate him. Why at Everton are you shit until proven good? Over at Liverpool, he'd be 'world class' until proven otherwise. Give the lad time FFS.
