I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.

Rooney is far better than Barkley in the 10 role. And so will be Sigurdson.

I'm really not that bothered about Barkley now...

If he dies, he dies.

Don't understand why I'm seeing people say they'd like to see him in this team.

We have intelligent players who move it quick and link up with eachother.

How would Barkley in any way improve things?
I said it cos I would like to see him with intelligent players who move it and link up well. He has never had that, if anything it would prove him one way or another

It will never happen though, it was a fairly innocent off the cuff comment
Simply simply lovely

Barkley has had plenty of opportunities to prove himself. He's rarely done it. This is why he's on his way out and replaced by players who get results.

This is indicative of a player lacking in confidence. Probably because of a gang of knobheads in the crowd have been getting at him for a while now.

No wonder he wants out.

Agree with this to an extent, but think about it, won't he be booed by a so called bigger clubs fans, who are used to success and the pressures for a big money signing will be far higher.
Spurs the team he most fancies apparently, their fans are not the most forgiving are they ?
The lad seemingly is a confidence player, he won't get confidence on the bench. Very badly advised.

The way i would put the situation with Barkley is like when you are investing in a oil stock, and you have lost 40% in a few weeks because they have not been able to retrieve the oil yet that was expected. It is looking less and less likely that it will pay off, but there is still a small chance that it will be a big hit.

Do you keep your money and time invested in this and hope within the next year that everything pans out, or do you cut your losses now before you are left with nothing?

p.s. None of this is to do with any investing that I am currently partaking in by the way....

I'd like to see him line up next to Schneiderlein or Gana in a more defensive set up than the number 10 with license to bring the ball through the middle of the park to open up play.

Would require him working on his defensive game to get good in the role but that's where I see him adding the most value in our current squad.

Not that it'll happen, mind.

Would like that too. His decision making is to slow especially in the number 10 role

The damage Mr Phenomenal has done to this lads progress is unforgivable. He really would improve no end with more defensive savvy. If he goes to Spurs, Pocchetino will turn him into a top, top player. I'm resigned to the fact that he's going. I'm not sure Barkley can listen to someone as hard headed as himself. (Koeman.) That's probably why he has to go. Just when we've started to get a team together worthy of his skills. Oh well, we do have Gylfi to fall back on, so it's not all doom and gloom. :)

That could be Deelish, i just wish we could find out one way or another while he's still in blue.
I still despise Clive Thomas..
