Over simplifying that slightly.

Not many players agree personal terms, go for a medical, then change their mind after the medical and just 1 hour before the end of the transfer window.
As said before, we've all had interviews and thought this doesn't feel right

Sky are just running the omg how could anyone turn Chelsea down route tho

Simply simply lovely

It's a slow end to the day, it's bigger news than it need be and it's Sky.

I think the news is more about how Chelsea have failed to attract any players rather than how one of our fringe players rejected them.

Kind of weird that they've failed to get some players that should be an easy pull for them.

Makes you wonder if there's more than meets the eye.

They all get advised
Id say his and sissokho situations are different
Anyway

Also he is a far far better player than gosling

Of course he's better. I was comparing the reasons for fans anger. The fact that they cost us money rather than losing the player

Gosling was very shite

I see Chelsea as a glorified human trafficing circle with the way they hoard and whore (or loan as they are more commonly called) players out.

Which is obviously overexagerated shite, but I do think there is something in the way Chelsea seem to treat players.

They had a list before of Lukaku, VVD, Drinkwater, Ox, Barkley etc. It is weird how it seems the players themselves decided against the move.

To be fair, they probably told him would have to play keeper because there sure as hell isn't any way he'd get in ahead of Hazard, Willian, Fabregas, Pedro etc.

I'll take solace in the fact that Chelsea with Costa and Arsenal with Sanchez have lost probably 3 times as much money not selling their players as we will losing Ross.

Yes you'd have thought Chelsea would be more attractive than Spurs for Llorente and Liverpool for Chamberlain but both turned them down. And now Barkley seemingly happy to wait for Spurs rather than going to them.

You have to wonder if these players spoke to them and something didnt feel right. Very odd for 3 players to turn down the Champions in 2 days to go to clubs who have won 1 trophy between them in about 10 years.

Could be as simple as they know Spurs and Liverpool arent getting rid of their managers even if they have poor seasons against what they want. Chelsea could sack Conte in October and nobody would be shocked.

Who criticised him publicly tonight?

Moshiri was saying it as it is. 'Techinically he will be an Everton player until January'' (or whatever phrase he used), because he's injured until Decmeber, so he's unlikel to actually play for us. That's just a fact, it's not criticism.

That was my thought when he said it. Still a bit cringe-worthy the whole interview thing. First time I've heard Moshri speak. He didn't sound like the business man I expected.

Let's all blame Barkley for the state of this window. Embarrassing. Then to top it that clown does an interview saying we've got enough to finish in top 6 & Barkley won't play again?
Is this idiot the chairman or the manager?

Well technically he's neither as Bill Kenwright is Chairman and Koeman is manager
