Hmm...va Man Utd? Maybe?

Plus there is no denying we helped widen the gap between us and Man United who finished directly above us last season.

We need to sign Kieran Tierney from Celtic, another world class performance last night against Anderlect. Much better than Baines and that's not knocking Baines down coz he's been a great player and professional for us. Time to move on

We sold him too cheap, should have held on for 100m up front or kept him for another year

1. We got 95m
2. Holding on for another year would only see us getting less

I would have thought the way the market has gone we'd have got far more plus the advantage of banging in another 25 or 30 for us in the meantime

He would have been entering the last year of his contract. No way we get more, even with the market as it is.

Reports say he was in a taxi that hit a lamppost and is flying back to Manchester this morning. Maybe I am being naive here but nothing wrong with going out but two days before a big game and in another country.

He went to a gig in Amsterdam by some Columbian artist.

That would explain it and he was not doing anything wrong and just another example, of being in the wrong place at the wrong time, maybe my opinion has been clouded by the stupidity of Ben Stokes.

That doesn't sound like a drug deal at all. :)
