One thing i genuinely dont understand is how in 2017 i can't watch football on the telly with just crowd noise.  It used to be a red button option on sky, but disappeared years ago.

Watching the pre-season friendlies with foreign comms was so much more enjoyable.  No agenda driven bullshit, no stating the fucking obvious, just being able to watch the game and be trusted to make my own judgement on what was going on.

I get in the old days it may have been hard to identify players, but now in super clear HD with squad lists and team sheets available for every game its not exactly hard to equip yourself with the information to work out whos the 22 wearing right back.

You could always press the mute button.

And far more talented

More?  Overall, yes.  Far more?  Nah.

Alli isnt scoring the goals like Cahill did at the World Cups for Australia.

I can, yes.  But having no sound at all wreaks havoc with my tinnitus.

Superb frame, Victor Wanyama (don't care if it sounds gay, gays are totally cool by me)

He has more to his game than Cahill.

I said Alli has more talent, just not 'far' more.  Cahill scored aome very special goals.  He wasnt just a nowty bastard with a knack for popping up in the box.

Yeah, he scored some lovely ones, and he had a 'cometh the hour' mentality.

That shit can't be taught.

Speaking of which, Lukaku and Pogba up next, fully expecting some proper gay goal celebrations here if either of these score

To be fair to Shelvey, he's done a better job at being the next Gerrard than Jay Spearing and Conor Coady.

They're not gay, theirs is cringey, masculine, chest bump, hand shake, in-joke bollocks.
