At least Cahill will give us something to cheer about in the finals.

Steinbeck's maxim: “Socialism never took root in America because the poor see themselves not as an exploited proletariat but as temporarily embarrassed millionaires.”.

Credit to him for still doing it at his age at international level

What is "international level" though. Because Australia v Syria certainly isn't a good level.

Well representing your country against another side is international level

No one else was stepping up to get them through to the next round. Cahill is an absolute master of heading the ball and the leap he generates is still as good as anyone currently playing I would say

He's easily the best player in the history of the Australian national side I reckon

I didn't realise they had to go again. Weird set up. 4th in the Central American qualifiers so it's Panama Honduras or the US next up.

Well, atleast one of those sides will get further than Holland and Wales..

its a team sport, who cares if the players aren't known.. same as Algeria at the last world cup, saying there not international level, when they are playing at international level is off.

both maybe shit at international level football, but its still international level.

Also. anyone know what channal England under 21s is on? there playing Andorra away.. lol

Major Clanger

You should be glad you missed it

Agree, it was hardly the game of the century. Was the goal given to Davies or was it classed as an own goal?

That Syrian striker looked a handful, almost sent them through their with that free kick at the end as well.

He's supposed to be actually quite good.

The lineup for the WC looks a little uninspiring.  Its going to take a hell of a showing from Panini to get my interest up at this rate.
Cordiali saluti, motherfuckers.
