Honestly mate I'm lost before half way!  It's not you. It's me.

Once you said you couldn't get it. I thought. "Ah! I'll sort it out for him". Then I could see why you didn't get it. Anyway: I'm off for a lie down.  :eh:

I couldn't follow that at all to be honest
Moshiri has contacts in Anderlecht told them about Onyekuru and that if we buy him you can loan him. Through multiple agents the transfer was sorted.
Is that right? 😂😂😂

Has this been mentioned before?  Chose us over PSG because they tried to strong-arm him...

Sounds like we have pulled of quite a coup with this signing.

This bullshit just seems unnecessarily complex.  Give the fuckers a deadline.  You bring us enough money, or enough money and a willing Batshuayi...or you talk to us in a year.

If Chelsea want to repeat and/or make a serious run in the UCL, then they need to quit pinching pennies.  Again, we hold all the fucking cards.  They don't like it?  Too fucking bad.

I'd be surprised if Anderlecht were genuinely paying his £40/k wages. Sure they can't afford that much in that league.

Basically Moshiri knew enough people to tie the deal up by having contact with all the main players with the exception of the agent of Onyekuru. That was organized through a link up with the Belgian agent Henrotay who phoned the guy at Anderlecht, Herman Van Holsbeeck, their director of football. Who knew the official agent of Onyekuru, Mogi Bayat.  Anderlecht had been told they would get the lad on loan by Moshiri, so consequently it got the ball rolling through Von Holsbeeck, via the agent Henrotay. Henrotay sorted out a plane for Bayat, Onyekuru’s “official” agent and a lawyer and the next day the deal taking the Nigerian starlet to Everton was signed without Anderlecht ever having to move. Right let's try that. It's probably more complex than the original lolol.

so who was the killer?  :eh:

Arsenal were his first choice, and it sounded like they were going to buy him until he couldn't get work permit. Supposedly PSG were so keen, they gave the hard sell so much they ran him out of town. He chose us over everyone else and posted a picture of himself next to the badge, so I'm delighted how keen he is. Not every player is going to be born an Evertonian or even know much about us, but he now has the chance to fall in love with the club and I'll excuse any comments which don't give us max respect as a big club, until he's been here a while.

There is no doubt he had some very keen admirers, Anderlecht seem to have helped us get him, so they could have him on loan for a season, that in itself is unusual and a bit ridiculous. But there is little doubt the kid is special at all standards he's played, and he'll get chances to play at higher level with Anderlecht in CL, but you'd think they would be well positioned to judge. His stats speak of a prolific forward and I'm not convinced he's really that clinical or trying that hard as yet.

When you polish out the imperfections, you sometimes lose a bit of the magic. It's often hard to put creativity in a comfortable box or framework, but potential and talent wise, he is hugely exciting.
