That's what caught my eye in his video. A few goals from ridiculous angles, a few 30 yard screamers and not so many "normal" goals.

Interesting article on that:

Makes sense.

As I say though I back his strengths, hopefully we will create more of the sort of chances he can do with rather than balls into the box.

Backs up the idea that we need a 'proper 9' in there aswell though...giroud cough cough.
I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.

His touch is so good, that he often only needs one of them to set himself for a shot or takes it first time. First touch is the hardest to control and it's not like he's poking at everything like Jelavic used to, he's just so comfortable on the ball, that he can get off shots or find a yard of space with minimal touches and a light boot.

If you look at the weighting on some of his passes, it's not on a Silva or Ozil level, but it's not that far off. It's more with layoffs or passes round the corner than through balls, but when you have that precision in opposition area, it creates chances.

Suggests he can be genuinely dangerous from a wide position and we may still be after a main cenre forward...

I'm only here for the cladding/Bramley Moore Dock updates

Yeah Sandro will no doubt be used out wide by us.

Id like us to sign a forward with pace next as we will be very slow up top IF Giroud and Rooney sign.

Sandro's looking at Atletico signing Costa despite the transfer ban thinking 'wtf?'.

He probably had the option to go there and sit out for 6 months too.

Was thinking would it be worth having Costa for 6 months...

The obligatory Evertonian, reporting movement of our new players. Sandro on his way over after his late holidays. I wonder if he'll get a cameo against FC Twente. Probably a bit too soon, fitness wise :)

By the way. Do us a favour lads, and let us know if the links don't show. Have stopped using Google as my main search engine account. Just getting used to Firefox. Thanks a lot. :)

He's refreshing the page showing when Atletico's transfer ban is lifted.

He could be refreshing the thread with the pictures of Kirsty Gallagher and/or he wanted some chocolate and souvenirs and the shop is closed.

Or he's found out we've sold Lukaku and him staying that was the sole reason Sandro signed.

Said no-one ever. David James.
