Theres no one there we shouldnt beat over two legs, but if the away leg is second between the Chelsea and Spurs games the it puts it right up in the air.

Really don't think it does in the slightest

I knew we'd get them when I saw the groups...Not happy.

They are one of those clubs with massive European experience and players that know every trick in the book.

Away leg second as well. Tough draw.

They are ranked 140th in the world.

Massive European experience? They haven't made it through to the tournament proper since 2011 (where they won 1 group game and lost the rest) despite being in the qualifiers every year since.

They are shit.

Will Mo be excited or pissed off?

Who's arsed, one thing he almost certainly will be is injured.

Wish people would stop saying no worries, this will be a piece of piss etc....

It'll be a hard tie and we'll have to improve a lot from the last two games to go through.

It's like people have never actually watched us play in Europe before

Watched a lot of Split games lately?

I'm pretty sure that we'll be ok seeing as they've not even made it past the qualifiers in years despite playing some absolute no mark teams.

We obviously will improve as fitness comes back etc.

Yeah because that's the point I'm making, isn't it.

Split are actually a really good team who I've watched loads.

Read the fucking post properley. I'm talking about us and our record is Europe over the last few years.

I fully expect us to go through. But it's not going to be an easy tie

The club that were the last remaining english side in Europe last time we were in it despite having a shambles of a manager?

Anything other than that can hardly be classed as recent can it.

OMG can't believe you've brought that shout out even though you ridiculed Martinez for saying it at the time.

Do you have an actual point here like?

Did I? Bit bizarre you remember a post from years ago unless you've got high functioning autism or something similar.

Yeah, Split are shit, we will progress comfortably.

We may have better players, but they are so naive when it comes to European football in countries like this.

What are you on about?

Have Rooney, Klaassen, Barry, Schniderlin, Mirallas, Baines and Jagielka not played in Europe before? Can't be arsed doing the maths but I bet there's probably a couple of hundred CL/EL games experience there.

Let's not forget Ashley Williams international experience either.

We have a hell of a lot more experience than the Split squad has.

I think he meant "in countries like this with Ultras". I don't know about Rooney or Schneiderlin but I have followed us a lot in Europe but have never encountered anything like this.

Erm hello... Crystal Palace! lolol

Been there the last two seasons no problems whatsoever ?

It's a joke... Their vociferous fans class themselves as 'Ultras'
