Onyekuru - Anderlecht
Galloway - Sunderland
Browning - Sunderland
Pennington - Leeds
Joe Williams - Barnsley
Kieran Dowell - Nottingham Forest
Antoine Robinson - Bolton

Nice to see all our youngsters getting championship matches.

From what I've seen, Pennington was doing very well on his debut for Leeds last week before going off injured.
Browning looks assured for Sunderland as a CB.
Galloway seems to have lost the ability to defend at LB.

Galloway played 3 times when he went to West Brom last year. That was a loan deal gone terribly wrong. Messed him up quite badly that. That's one to blame on the coaching staff, not arranging a return clause in the deal.

Apparently Joe Williams was poor in his first game for Barnsley.

...............isn't there a rule that prohibits recalls outside transfer windows ? The obvious thing is to just loan a player for half a season at a time.

Watching browning and Galloway here (and vaghaun and mcgeady and Gibson and beckford) and both have not really stood out.

Defenders in a largely dominant team I guess but galloways ball playing hasn't really stood out which you think it would at that level.

Yeah that's true. He hadn't got hardly any game time by January. 3 or 4 games, I think he played in, pre- January.  He should have been recalled, or loaned out elsewhere, if the coaches were providing him with the best options available. Sitting on West Broms bench wasn't it.

..................Yes I'm sure I read it somewhere the rules have changed . There is an exception for goalkeepers.

Prediction: This is going to become the Kieran Dowell thread, with occasional tidbits about our other players out on loan.

Will be proving himself if it does turn out that way.
