Wouldn't surprise me at all if the game got abandoned early on, flares and shit will be lashed on the pitch

Wouldn't surprise me either and would be happy for it to be so as long as we are awarded the tie and not made to play again on a neutral ground, sorry for the travelling fans though, maybe UEFA could make Split compensate the away fans if through their fans actions the game is abandoned, have to go now, a pig just flew over my house.

Ruined what could have been a pleasant trip to a beautiful part of the world for some fans. The downside of the Europa League.

Idk what you're all surprised of? We told you this is where your fans will be on the match day ( isolated, secured area ) before the 1st game. It's a common procedure here and in entire eastern Europe. I hope there will be the day when it isn't - but it is now.

I pressed like by mistake instead of "Quote".

Your comment gets a tool from me as you come on here all self righteous about how our fans attacked you.
Then you state that this is the way in Eastern Europe.
If that is the case Eastern European teams should not be in the competition.
Let them have their own cup where they can beat the shit out of each other and the teams with fans who go just for the football can get along fine.

I went to Rotterdam 30 years ago, it was and is still a great place to go. The fans were great and the Dutch people treated us well.
I can tell you this...I wouldn't ever contemplate going to one of the emerging European countries released from the Communist bloc. At least under Communism you had to behave yourself. Now you think your new found freedom gives you the right to attack anything in your own countries who disagrees with your view.

It's a shame our site is so welcoming and free for you to post your shit. I bet the same isn't on your fan's site, even if we could speak Serbo-Croat!!

Away fans do make a difference. Split get a free advantage because they can't control their fans. It isn't right.

Uefa will no doubt look for a reason to ban uk sides if anything kicks off, too soft on the thug teams from eastern europe no doubt the fine will be a medioce sum for them and a huge one for Everton and one again a croatian side get away with it

Bit simplistic and childish?
The Himalayas has the Yeti, Norway has Trolls, America has Hillbillies. You, good people, are blessed with Shropshire.

First part is (they wont be looking to ban us).
But i reckon the 2nd part is probably true. Split will get a releatively small fine. maybe be told to play to a reduced crowd, at worst an empty stadium.
We would be financially butfucked if we did what Split police are hinting Hajduk fans are about to do.

Fans should not travel to this fixture unless you are going with an organised group with the club. It should be monitored 'North Korean' style where you aren't allowed anywhere but from the airport to the hotel to the stadium and back again.

10 years ago i was in Belgrade when the derby was going on, and there were 500 riot police escorting the away fans to and from the stadium to the train station. In Eastern Europe, they treat this stuff very seriously, and if any away fans step out of line, they will be treated severely.

This is exactly how they deal with it . It is easier to isolate the smallest number ie away fans . No colours is quite common for away fans in certain fixtures in places like Serbia , Croatia and against certain teams in Poland ( as my mate found out when he went to watch Wisla Krakow ). It seems they have not yet evolved and need to be restrained by being removed from European competition . Small number or not they represent the club .

Find 1 post of mine where I'm defending any of those that made an incident

I agree that amongst our fans there are morons whose sole purpose is the above, but the majority of them are a great bunch and fans any club would be proud of.
Saying all our fans our trouble makers, shitfaces or whatever else is like saying all muslims are terrorists

A lot of your fans seem to suggest this too.

Cunts are lucky me & Edbootle aren't going. Banana Splits is right. Had enough with the likes of these at Leeds, Manchester, Millwall & Chelsea last century.

Stay safe Evertonians.

Grim for anyone who is making the trip.

It's a joke that you need safety advise to go to a European game, what happened about going to a city, seeing somewhere new and having a laugh with your mates and watching the blues.

Best of luck to the fans going and fingers crossed everything goes OK.

I think it will be fine, maybe some little flare ups before and during. I get the impression trying to storm a home end a bit half heartedly is pretty much par for the course and nothing too out of the ordinary for this lot.

Only thing I'm worried about is that their media have said it was our fault and their fans on twitter have been bugging it up a bit as well, hopefully they don't think there's a grudge to settle or anything.
I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.

So, on the OS this morning further info for travelling fans, all the usual as before but additionally , flags, banners shirts may be displayed/worn INSIDE the stadium, great, but "after the game there will be no police escort and fans will be advised to familiarise themselves with the locality. So at midnight, we are released from the holding area just outside the stadium to make our own way back, into town/hotels.
If we have won/drawn and have knocked these morons out (even if we haven't probably) it will be open season on our fans, this is sheer bloody madness !

We have always known how dangerous this tie could be, we could have organised a live screening at GP, should not have sold children tickets, organised a Thomas Cook charter flights to Split, bus to stadium with escort, bus back to airport after match with escort.
