Everton striker Wayne Rooney says he is sure that Manchester United fans will have enjoyed seeing him score against City again despite playing in Everton colours this evening.

IMO taunting the crowd yes, scoring the goal no. He saved the fist pump for us.

Anyone else notice how much our other players love celebrating Rooney's goals? I don't think any of them can believe he's actually here.

But we were absolute dogshit.

Mark Pembridge centre midfield.

He left and became one of the highest English league goal scorers of all time, broke the national team record, littered with titles and trophies. His development would have stuttered in our team and he'd have won nothing.

Just enjoy him being back.
