We need to use the squad or there's no point in having one? Especially with Chelsea so soon afterwards. I'll be interested to see Ronnie's starting 11.

Id be tempted to start Rooney on the bench given his exertions last night?

I agree we should utilise the whole squad , and believe Ron would have in both the away legs if we had comfortably won the home legs, can't see him changing it up much now, International break after the Chelsea Game so a rest for a few

Genuinely think something really bad is going to happen and the match will be abandoned.

Yep, flares and shit will be lashed on the pitch, their authorities have basically admitted there is no way to stop it, just hope our fans are ok over there and stay safe

Thought this was next week and have already made plans

I'm struggling to adapt to Europa league football here.

Go for the early goal then the tie is as good as over. I really hope we don't play too negative and try to hold what we've got. We are the better side and should try and take the game to them early on, kill it off quickly.

Nervous about it still though, we really should have scored at least a 3rd in the 1st leg.

I don't think I'll get to watch it, I'm out for a meal...

We are a far superior side. With two full blown EPL games under our belt. We are much fitter than the first leg and the new players are getting used to playing as a team. I can't see anything but us going through. Unless they threaten to murder the ref or something. Mind you! "I wouldn't put it past this mob".  ???

Start Lookman, preserve Rooney and DCL if we can.

Could see this as our lineup-

Martina  Keane  Williams  Baines
       Schneiderlan Davies
Lookman   Klassen    Mirallas/Sigurdsson
             DCL/Sandro (if fit)

Allows fresher legs to play and preserve a few for Sunday

Schneiderlein is a definite starter as he won't play against Chelsea. Surely Davies has to start too to rest Gueye for Chelsea. Tom only played an hour on Monday so should be OK. You'd think Klaasen and Mirallas would also start. Maybe Lookman for a half then swapped for Lennon. I can't see how Sandro will be fit for this and Rooney and DCL must be tired. We're will probably have to start players that we would rather rest but never mind.

Go for it. Bang in a quick two and watch them spontaneously self-decombust along with their 'fans'.
