Marky Mark and the funky

Moving over to this thread.

Hazard denied a decent penalty shout off the usually reliable Morgan Feeney!

Chelsea had 2-3 good chances to score yet the main point is our well-drilled defence ultimately prevented it. (Jones-Feeney-Foulds-Connolly are all U23 stalwarts)

The biggest worry is we have created absolutely nothing since going 1 up.

Hazard has only taken the piss out of our kids a couple of times :snigger:

I was just gonna say how we were failing to hold it up-top and over-run in midfield, then the champion mini-Gana Baningime scores :D

The score does not reflect the balance of play, still great work Unsy!

I can't believe Walsh is not on loan somewhere. He really needs it to show he can contribute to a proper competitive match.

It could be the making of him like Osman, although he has a fair aggressive streak compared to Leon.

Hazard draws a good save just before going off.

Thank feck he's gone, I hope we don't make too many changes now and throw it away.

I doubt it because I reckon our Rhino is proper pissed we have 1 point from the first two games 8)

Oumar came!

This has been a masterful example of how to win with barely a third of the possession.

Feck off Roberto :bonk:

Decent second-bite finish from Niasse that.  Always a smile as well.  Go on Oumar!

Now it is in the bag, I feel safe to elaborate on what I think was doin'. Unsy gave a few of the new players chances in our opening fixtures. 1 point to show for it.

The starting eleven today were all part of his team that won the reserves league last season. Great way to show the new boys what it takes to be a WINNER!

We flogged them, yet in all honesty we did not control the match. If we did not have such a well-drilled defence we would have lost.

Decent game management from the rezzers, something the first-team never had under Booby-brown-shoes

I think putting Steve Walsh out on loan would be a mistake, we still have transfers to complete.
Dignity does not consist in possessing honours, but in deserving them
