Most of the young u23 signings have played minimal first team games or not at a top level. Vlasic has played over 100 games for the Split first team and been playing first team football for them since he was 16 I really cant think hed be happy leaving them to come and play in our under 23 team.

He might play out wide, but he seemed to take up a lot of central positions across the 2 games.

Was it him who kept popping up in good positions in the second half of the first leg?

Yes. Seemed to be a bit wider in th secs leg but still got into some good positions to receive the ball.
