Having horrible flashbacks. Was on a long flight last deadline window. Got off the plane to check in here and it was fume o clock and we'd just loaned Valencia off West Ham

Finding out we had sold Arteta just before getting on a long distance flight. Ample stewing time !!

Big shout out to Bob the chiropodist, bought a house for 150k, spent 8 grand doing it up, looks fabulous, rebuilt the tatty old garage, took my advice about getting rid of the downstairs shitter, new kitchen and neutral colours throughout.

Anyway local estate agent said its sale value is now around 200 to 210k so a healthy 50k profit there

Nice one Bob! Played a blinder there fella

I'm equal parts excited and scared. We don't fuck this up like last year, right?

Vlasic nears Everton move

Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer
Everton expect to complete a 10m deal for Hajduk Split's talented teenager Nikola Vlasic - but it is that high-quality forward that is Koeman's main concern.

Liverpool may also be in the market as sellers, hoping to offload 30m misfit Mamadou Sakho, possibly to Crystal Palace, and Lazar Markovic. He could be reunited with Marco Silva at Watford after he had a spell on loan under him at Hull City last season.

Ron on holiday again no doubt a quick 18 holes as well. Living the dream that fella, obviously washed his hands of any transfers today.

Imagine the fume if we don't do any proper business and Koeman is chilling in Portugal.

It's that sort of whole hearted commitment that'll see us put a few trophies in the cabinet this year.

We'll be tearing it up in the pro am celebrity golf tournaments this season and no mistake.

There are only two things I can't stand in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures... and the Dutch.

I don't really know how our transfers work but I would guess that it isn't the manager who does the negotiations

Doesn't Steve Walsh identify the targets and confirm them with Koeman and Dave Harrison sorts out the finer details?
