Seems pointless bringing in Gylfi as the set piece mastermind when there is noone to find in the box.

I also really dont get the Klassen signing. 24 mil and I really dont see where he fits in

Left back situation worse than the striker one IMO.

There's just no way Baines plays 90 minutes three games a week for months.

Schneiderlin either for that matter and we have no alternative for either whilst both have been quite injury prone last few seasons, it's madness.

No the striker problem is much worse. You can still win games if you concede. You cant win games if you dont score

Funny, Martinez had a similar line of thought

There needs to be balance obviously. But we dont have that option. We have no way of holding there ball up nor do we have pace to beat players. Expect a lot of grim football to be played

That's not true, we've still got Sandro, Rooney and DCL obviously.

Rooney isn't a striker don't kid yourself. He hasn't been able to play that position for years he drops far to deep. And Sandro is a left forward who would play on the left of a front 3, a formation we don't play.

Koeman said he's a striker when he was signed, and everyone has been calling Sandro a striker since we were linked to him.

Mate, he hasn't even been playing as a striker for us. He's a number 10, and one that drops deep. You can call Sandro a striker if you want, but he isn't the type who plays upfront on his own in the formation that we do

Our scouting network seems really limited to England. Almost all of our signings have came from the prem and we have paid through the nose for it.

i don't doubt that we wasn't trying for a striker but the simple truth is that the ones we wanted wasn't available. And selling clubs have all the power now. Look at the amount of players who tried to push through moves. We needed to be looking abroad. There was no substantial links other than giroud and Costa. All eggs in the wrong basket
