There needs to be balance obviously. But we dont have that option. We have no way of holding there ball up nor do we have pace to beat players. Expect a lot of grim football to be played

I have zero qualms about watching grim football.

I'd offer my left bollocks for 35 drab, miserable 1-0 wins in the league right now.

Fuck pretty. Fuck being fancy and having the media purring about us and "neutrals" loving us. Fuck them all.

Roll our sleeves up. Have people hate watching us, dread playing us and hate getting ground down and beaten by 1 goal even more.

I'll take boring and grim all fucking day long if we are picking up points. And I expect this team to be able to pick up 3-6 points off 13 teams in this league

Can still see us going for that Janssen at Spurs on loan now Llorente has signed.

How predictable are we going to be to play against?

I'm starting to think we're gonna struggle to win games.
As predictable as last season
Simply simply lovely

sam of the south

Yeah it's all Barkleys fault incredibly.

Haha, yes that is a ridiculous assumption 😁

I'm still gutted, though.

Odds on he will have had Levy getting him to hold on till January.
Dignity does not consist in possessing honours, but in deserving them

Koeman said he's a striker when he was signed, and everyone has been calling Sandro a striker since we were linked to him.

Mate, he hasn't even been playing as a striker for us. He's a number 10, and one that drops deep. You can call Sandro a striker if you want, but he isn't the type who plays upfront on his own in the formation that we do

So what was our net spend?

I think it is about £40m. But I'd imagine the wages are a lot higher they were last year.

Who cares
Really tho?

Moshiri is rich, to me and you
As an investor he is a pauper really. He was always going to recycle money and try to improve the squad

If you take lukaku out if it the squad has improved, we were never gonna keep lukaku tho
Simply simply lovely

Everton Mint

For me the issue isnt 'missed signings' its this seasons tactics of Koeman which pisses me off more.

We have many top players but I dont see the formation working for them... or the slow negative lack of tempo.

The first half at home to H.Split showed what we should be like every game.
