that red star team of the early 90's

probably the best team i've ever seen play

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1990%E2%80%9391_Red_Star_Belgrade_season

was only 13 at the time.. enjoy.

Koeman is taking Everton places. Namely, the Championship.

We'd sure be in a pickle without him! :D

Nikola Vlasic

Remember the name. I feel sorry for the poor fucker. He signs for us, he is all excited, couldn't wait to get here, cant wait to play for us, (unlike some local born supporter), and some people cant even be arsed to learn his fucking name.

I have read threads this morning where he was referred to as " the kid from Croatia" or "this Croatian lad".

OK, so there is anger out there, but no need to take it out on those not responsible.

Welcome Nikola, hope you become a huge success here.

lolol

How many of those were from before we signed him though, I was definitely guilty of being too lazy to go off and check his name when it was still the 'rumour' stage.

I take great pride in knowing the names of our players, NOTHING shits me more on Everton forums than seeing people consistently mis-spelling a name! (e.g. Ross "Barclay").

All the best now you are here, Gospodin Vlašić :)

p.s. start brushing up Croatian phrasebook

@SANA_DR0 great team.

Stojkovič had already left by that stage - ironically to Marseille who they beat in the final.

They did still have Prosinecki, Pančev, Savičevič and Mihajlovič though.

Unbelievable talent in that era..

the Yugoslavia team of that era had some immense talent.. wish that team still existed.
