1-0...  who else, DCL !!

You gonna post about it here then? I'm talking to myself in Today's Football teehee

Quote from: me
Did well to beat the offside trap, through ball straight down the middle of their defence, he makes it look easy beating the keeper with a shot into the corner :woohoo:

Well he is going to get plenty, of game time now. Hopefully it will do him some good? Harry Kane wasn't getting picked for the premier league matches, but started scoring in Europe. All of a sudden he was first choice. DCL has his chance now.

A couple of goals will make all the difference in terms of confidence for DCL, and belief from our point of view. He scores for England, but once he starts doing it in the Prem, or even in the cups, we can then start talking.

JJ Kenny is playing well for the U21's. Lookman a bit quiet 2nd half.

Lovely little roll-flick from Lookman for the assist.

Who hates him? I think people have only said there's little evidence he's going to be as good as Harry Kane (who's possibly 1 of the best 5 strikers in the world)
Christ you're so dramatic

One extreme to the other, he was shit two months ago now he's the next Harry Kane. He's somewhere in between and you hope he gets closer to the latter

We just need him to improve his finishing. He definitely can find space but just need that final touch of quality.

the way spurs play is more beneficial to kane than the way we play is to dcl. spurs are far more positive and attack minded than we are, we appear slow, defensive and quite negative, so until we up the ante i think no, but i would love to be able to say yes
