It's really hard to see how we will win one tho at present
As a manager maybe, but we all know as a player he was mustard ....just something about the guy. ...he's gotta be as hungry as any Everton fan for silverware .

Never understood why we place such little importance on the League Cup. Win 5 games and we've got ourselves a trophy by February, safely in Europe and the no trophy in 20 odd years monkey off our back.

Exactly. Like when managers "save" our players' fitness by dropping them in games. Not understanding that morale can just be as important, and a winning streak is far more beneficial than losing two or three on the trot, and players being a bit fed up, but a bit fresher - doesnt make sense. Got out to win EVERY game, and take players off when the game is won, not try and rescue it when we are losing it.
