It's not that risky. The Spanish window closed a day later this year, didn't have any impact at all really.

I don't think the fact the Spanish league would still be open would make much difference. English clubs would let it be known that the end of the window is effectively game over so no point anyone else picking up the phone to enquire about their best players as it isn't happening. Of course English clubs could still sell surplus players abroad but if they're surplus then it's a non-issue.

Doesn't really affect us. We'll get our array of average 10s in early and just miss out on the players we actually need sooner
