Poll

What should we do? (RESET 29 SEPTEMBER, AFTER LIMASSOL GAME)

Fire him now before our season goes tits up
Give him till Christmas.. If performances and results aren't where they should be for what he's spent, he's out
Let's just see how things are at the end of the season
The season has barely begun, he's a great manager and we should get 100% behind him
Ohhh Davey Moyes, Davey Davey Davey Moyes...
Fuck off with your polls, you cunt

An important role of the Director of Football is to ensure any new manager coming in fits a similar profile to the previous one - so the playing squad doesnít have to be ripped up and started again, each time the team changes manager.

Monchi (at Roma, previously at Sevilla) is responsible for player and all staff recruitment.

Does Steve Walsh if Koeman stay or goes? Would be help appoint a successor?

Walsh has a tough job. First, people still see him as a scout. Second, he is the first director of football we've had. Third, he's working with Koeman who, despite his good and bad points, is clearly a strong willed bloke. It must have been very hard for the two to work together in what is still a bit of an experiment.

This whole season has been one giant clusterfuck, from Barkley to the Lyon game. Just seems we're cursed at times, really does.

Anyone know what style of play Unsworth favours when results are the overriding factor?

Itís normally a winning formula. As evidence his teams results.
There are only two things I can't stand in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures... and the Dutch.

Walter Smith got Rangers to win a lot as well.

Thank fuck for that ...nothing against the guy he did what he did on a shoestring and the players would run through walls for him ...but we were/are supposed to be moving forward Despite Koeman and Rooney "returning".

Can you imagine how @Simon Paul would react if we got rid of Koeman and replaced him with Moyes.  :snigger:

Careful what you wish for. ;)

We'll be fine, we were on a similar run last season when we played Arsenal at home and pumped them 2-1. ;)

If our under 23s were that much better than competition, it would make more sense.

Not sure when Koeman has ever achieved above expectation. He had success with Ajax and PSV over a decade ago. But Ajax went pear shaped and PSV nearly threw away title and then went pear shaped.

8 jobs, half of those only lasted about a season or less, before wheels came off. If he didn't have great playing career, I don't think anyone would rate highly.
