im going to have to go for the 2 worse players.. going by hype.. i was  a mad CM fan back in the day (before the Collyers rebranded FM)

i always used to buy Bakayoko, and Ibrahim Said,(for Everton) they performed amazingly, think i used to play Said as a sweeper.. anyway.. not sure what winter window.. we bought them both!!! was fucking over the moon, til i saw them play.. lol

Hard one this.

Worst is either Pembridge or Hottiger

Best... Southall, Reid, Kanchelskis, Watson, Weir, Gough.... Consistently it has to be Southall.

I never really saw Angell play - was he that bad?
Fuck yeah

Imagine a 6ft 4 lad who went for headers by jumping and then ducking

With zero movement, no touch and the inability to run

Then times it by a hundred

Best - Kanchelskis

Worst - Loads really but probably John Spencer. Just couldn't believe someone like that could ever have a career as a footballer.

Didn't it turn out Spencer had been keeping it secret for a while that he had a heart murmer?

Barry Horne worst Jim?

As for Angell, he worked permanent nights in Stockport Yesco Extra for ages. He's my mates uncle, says it kept him busy and he was out the way working like that!

You watched him for 20 minutes? Christ.

He had no neck, couldn't run, couldn't pass, couldn't stand up.

Awful awful player mate.
Guess coming from the boss 80s sides to that skews my opinion slightly

Can I throw a mitch ward in?

Any player who played right back in between Gary Stevens and tony Hibbert as well!!

I'm surprised nobody has thrown Kroldrup's name in here, even though the poor lad only played one game, a 4-0 drubbing at Villa where every player was shite, not just him, yet he bore the brunt of it. He was pretty good for Udinese!
