I never really saw Angell play - was he that bad?

You can't be that young surely? One as cynical as you.

To answer that question he only scored one goal for us. In a 4-2 win against Chelsea at home. The ball was one yard out with an open goal - and he almost missed it. I'm a better footballer than Brett - and I'm a rugby player

Didn't Smith sign Durrant the same time he got Ferguson? Just not on the deal he hoped to bring him in on?

No that was Mike walker

i recall being on holiday when we bought him, i missed the charity shield due to the holiday, i got back. My mates had told me he scored,, was so hyped about him. but he was incredibly shit.. lol he only scored 2 goals for us, the charity shield one and i dunno who against, i think it was villa or west ham, then i remember him being dropped and going out on loan til his contract expired lol.

shame, he looked kinda sexy on the ball(close control) kinda like arteta but without the physical features to make him genuinely sexy.

Free kick against Portsmouth in the League Cup if I remember rightly. We lost 3-2. The charity shield game was the season after. I was there and remember thinking Vinny was going to finally kick on with us. Lol

Great..Duncan Mcenzie      Bad....Jim Pearson.   One boxing day in the 70s an old guy bevvied up stopped the game tugging at pearsons shirt trying to get it off him.
I still despise Clive Thomas..

Worst - Neville

I'm genuinely jealous if Neville is the worst you've seen. You don't know pain!

Im trying to think, i know we were fucking awful in the 90's but i was too young to truley hate a player

But hating a player and them being the worst you've seen are completely different. I hated Scott Gemmill, as in utterly despise, but he's not the worst I've seen. I wish he was. Heck I wish he was never a footballer. The tit.

Neville is up there as the worst for a midfielder.

He was a solid right back though.

Ah, the innocence of youth.

Worst - Jo

There have been so, so, so many worse players than Jo.
