Seen a few posts recently along the lines of "our worst match ever" so lets put together a list of matches post-2000 that can contend for that title.

12/13 FA Cup Everton 0-3 Wigan - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/21639357

We were all confident. One match from Wembley. End result? Martinez becomes our manager.

15/16 Liverpool 4-0 Everton - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35624290

We all knew what was coming. Funes Mori red card. 37 shots from them.

09/10 Everton 1-6 Arsenal - http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/8199120.stm

Opening day of the season. Lescott saga. The fuck?

There's plenty more so let have them!

That Wigan semifinal felt like somebody died.  Seriously.  I just sat and looked at a bare wall for a few hours afterwards.

oh yeah, was at Goodison and everything.  Semifinal would have been against a minnow, that was the setup.

Losing 6-2 at Villa in '89 (I think) live on telly was particularly painful

The only thing that died that day was Neville's career, midway through the first half.
