Barring floodlight failure and frozen pitches this is a great chance for us to build some momentum after a good result and hopefully start a decent cup run.

We should show Scunny respect but maybe give a game to a few of the fringe players.

I think a lot depends on the first goal, they score first then it could really kick them on and dent our confidence, we score first and it could be a cricket score.

375-7?

EFC Everton XI: Howard, Hibbert, Baines, Distin, Heitinga, Coleman, Fellaini, Osman, Bilyaletdinov, Saha, Beckford

hows that for ya bally!?

Decent side, so much for continuing with our strongest team though.

I think that people have got to accept that Beckford will never be a clinical finisher and never has been. He's quick and gets into good positions and also works hard for us but he's not going to be a 15 goal a season man. The only reason he was so prolific further down the league was the number of chances that Leeds would create in each game.

Anyway great result and some cracking goals, hopefully we'll get a similar draw in Round 4.
