Absolutely no chance of this being true, but that shouldnt stop us dreaming.....

Report links Everton with Edinson Cavani with PSG under pressure in January

Everton are one of several sides being linked with a move for Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani.

The Daily Mail reports the Toffees, along with Chelsea, Napoli, Juventus and Inter Milan, are taking an interest in the Uruguayan, who clashed with new teammate Neymar in Sunday's 2-0 win over Lyon

It is claimed the French side are under pressure to sell in January to avoid Financial Fair Play sanctions, with Lucas Moura, Angel di Maria and Julian Draxler originally up for grabs.

But Sunday's incident could see them focus on Cavani's exit instead, although a move to Everton would not be without its obstacles.

Already in his 31st year, Cavani is said to earn 120,000-a-week after tax and would also want Champions League football - which the Toffees appear some way off achieving.

But Everton are perhaps better placed than Chelsea, for example, to offer the nine-goal striker first-choice status, having failed to properly replace last season's top scorer Romelu Lukaku.

It is the wrong time to be tossing off about improbable January signings. Did anyone not see Koeman's near 10 minute post match interview? Concentarte on what matters which is the here and the now.

Haha yeah I'd say I'd probably go for that.

Real Madrid calling I think.
I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.

"Neymar, 25, has demanded Paris St-Germain sell fellow forward Edinson Cavani, 30, after their on-pitch dispute on Saturday." (Sport via Daily Mail)

As if.

Anyway it would be a nice gesture for Everton to take Cavani on loan from our Parisian friends until the summer to act as a cooling off period so that these two guys can settle their differences. Then our new manager can bring in his own striker.
