7-1 was Barmby’s debut wasn’t it?

Not sure but he did score that game, prick for how he betrayed us in the end.

Lovely stuff.

Loved Joe's "I've always had affection for the great country of Africa" too  lolol

I can't remember what you call it now, I'm having that thing where Amo, an African, has let him get away with it, but I still can't let ignorance from somebody I expect to know better slip from my mind, this gaffe stuck-out like a sore-thumb for me :P

Joe Royle's signings were generally poor, that's why the board eventually balked on Flo.

Most endearing  memory of Amokachi was his brace at Elland Road in the 95 fa cup semi.
Somehow managed to brake my toe in the 3rd goal mayhem, after klinsman put the spurs back in it at 2-1.
Night comes down and finds you alone
In a space and time of your own
Lost in dreams in world full of shadows.

Could have been 5-1 and a hat-trick for Amo in that semi-final

He was superb in a 2-0 home win against Newcastle around Easter that year, also netting a brace

The pass from Limpar for his first goal in the Newcastle game was a thing of beauty
