                 Pickford

 Kenny  Holgate  Not Williams Baines

          Davies  a DM

A winger                    Another Winger or Niasse if he can play as a wide forward

One of our five number 10's

             DCL

I would also accept this team as it would at least have some pace and energy

Kenny      Holgate     Williams     Baines

                  Schneiderlin
        Davies               Gueye

      Rooney                 Niasse
                      DCL

If Koeman doesn't start with any pace up top again, he needs kicking in the face.
Who though? Calls for Lookman are naive as heís looked well out of his depth. Mirallas isnít quick anymore and looks disinterested. Sandro nowhere near up to speed. Itís not like Koeman is ignoring world class pacey wingers, is it? DCL and Vlasic are the only two that should be in with a shout if starting (and they will) but theyíre kids. The above says more about the clubs recruitment than Koeman.

The frustration is understandable but people start moaning as soon as there's a misplaced pass. Hardly great support is it.

thats d own to the manager for not having any outlets, just 5 players in the middle of midfield, with no where to go, Im sure if we had some players  who would run at players, the atmosphere would be positive.

We can not play Gana-Gueye with Schneiderlin anymore..

Its either attack the opposition (dont be scared of Burnely) or  just pass it around aimlessly waiting for us to make a mistake, the more the balls in the oppositions half, the less mistakes are back line will make.

                        Pickford
Kenny   Holgate  Anyone but Williams Baines

Lookman/   Gana   Davies/      VLasic
Mirallas                    Siggy

              DCL         NIASSE

2 strikers, 2 wingers, 1 DM 1 attacking CM, simples. give us some balance.

Pickford

Kenny Holgate Williams (If Keane or Jags ain't fit) Baines
Gueye Davies
Vlasic Sigurdsson Lookman
Rooney/DCL

Would be mine.

Big fan of this team. Personally, I'd start with DCL.

Most commentators and pundits picking up on how quiet it is at Goodison these days.

Most commentators are also saying that Everton have a specialist now as soon as we get a free kick or a corner.... followed by a very average free kick or corner.

the problem with that team is, when we lose the ball,. our 3 behind the striker are in the wrong positions to cover attacking fullbacks, leaving the other team lots of space.. our players have to come from inside to out, rather than being setup from out, coming to inside.. still no balance with that team. we cant have 3 players behind the striker, If Vlasic and Lookman start out wide, then its fine, they will be in the right places so the oppositions full backs will find it harder to get up the pitch, if they start inside, by the time lookman and Vlasic get to the fullbacks, they will be alot further down the pitch,

the 3 behind the striker invites to much pressure/free space to attack.

He must play Niasse, and even hopefully a second striker DCL. But to choose DCL over Niasse would be ludicrous. Vlasic with his energy forward running and as said above either Schneiderlin or Gueye but not both. We are condemned I fear to playing Williams and Holgate again.

I have literally no idea what you're talking about with regards to players coming from inside to out. The team above has much more balance than we've seen previously and players are actually playing in the correct positions. From what I've seen so far, Vlasic is quite industrious and provides decent cover for his full back. Not as sure on Lookman in that respect, but he's a threat and we're playing Burnley at home FFS. 4-2-3-1 can work going forward with the right players, and it can become a 4-4-1-1 when we're defending, as the wingers can drop in to a 4.
