He's got a 45million weight on his shoulders, he'll come good in the end

We hope.

Hope we start playing Rooney as a CM instead of Schneiderlin.. he;s got the energy and vision and can pass forwards.

I'd be up for this.

At least today has enabled us to get some perspective into the Niasse debate. He's a limited footballer best utilised from the bench and not the saviour a few hoped he'd be.

This is now getting to be as bad as under Martinez. Not quite there yet but not far off.

Martinez never got to spend $145M in one window.

He was not a good manager for us, but he WAS very good at getting in talent for modest sums of money. He had a very sharp eye for young talent.

No he didn't. At all. I don't know where you've got this from. Revisionist stuff.

Kenwright will give Koeman a hug in the lounge, tell him to hang in there, that he's a great bloke, we're right behind him.

Just hope Moshiri is fuming after necking a bottle of red watching this at home and rings Koeman's mobile while it's happening.

We paid Martinez 10 million to fuck off, we paid Southampton 5 million for Koeman, now we will pay Koeman 10 million to fuck off , what a shambles !

This is about the strength of it. We're still a small club playing at being a big boy. Making costly errors in appointments and contract terms.

If we don't at least put a call in to Tuchel and maybe even Ancelotti (I know I know) then we're negligent in the extreme. There's nothing left to give under Koeman, whatever he tries isn't coming off. If Moshiri is a football man he'd spot this a mile off and instruct an agent to get on it.

To be fair, no one on here has a clue what the termination clauses are in Koeman's contract. There could easily be a clause saying something like if you're in the bottom 5 after 10 games you can be fired with only 1m payable.

Obviously I'm making the numbers up but it's not a given that you fire a manager and then have to pay out the full remainder of their contract term.

We have form in doing exactly that and the fact we had to pay so much to get him I would be surprised if he came for a contract that had an escape route for us.

Fuck Everton at the moment, at least my roast lamb was nice...

My missus has us on a meat-free week this week. I've got a Sunday roast with no roast. Great. Bottle of red it is then.

Is it wrong to really like listening to Sean Dyche speak. He strikes me a bloke who has his head screwed on about football and plays it as most people see it. Refreshing.

Is that a discreet proposal?

More like an indecent proposal.

Too many turtle neck jumpers for me.
