Ive never really rated Wiltshire but hes a had a really good season. I still think we need a unit in CM a la Wanyama, Pogba and Can but Wiltshire would give us what were lacking; someone to receive the ball to feet from our CBs, turn whilst holding off a challenge, then play it forward. Hes deceptively strong and doesnt get pushed off the ball.

To be fair a lot of the old guard won't be here in just over a year, if not earlier. We still need experience in the squad and once Jags, Baines, Rooney, Williams (I know)leave then we do look a bit light on senior pros.

I wouldn't be so sure. People were saying Jags was done 2 years ago, now he's our best defender.

Steve Walsh will urge Everton to make a move for Leicester's 31-year-old England striker Jamie Vardy this summer - if he stays on as director of football. (Liverpool Echo)

Seriously, Id get rid of him for this suggestion alone. It shows how completely short sighted hes being and beyond that deeply unimaginative.

Why would you pay what would be an inflated sum for a player whose game is based largely off pace when theyd be turning 32 in the middle of next season? It shows no respect for the money being spent.

Hes got to go.

Says more about our options really. Jagielka in fairness has been great, but youd question his ability to be anything more than a reliable back up at this point.

Walsh is smart. Just as he is looking like he is in trouble he starts going after Arsenal rejects to keep Moshiri happy. First Giroud, then the Wenger for manager rumours and now Wiltshire.

Smart man that Walsh.

Those two statements arent mutually exclusive, sadly.

So the team would look something like this;

               Pickford
Coleman  Jones  Keane. Baines
         Gana.  Wiltshere
Walcott.    Sigurdsson.  Bolasie
                  Tosun

I'll have a meltdown if we don't sign a left back this summer.

It was dumb enough not to sign one the last two windows.

Would be a great signing, like a good Ross Barkley.
I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.
