Everton Mint

Phil Neville said the other day he wants to come back to Everton in the future. I think he would make a decent assistant to Koeman instead of his brother.

Here's what I don't understand about the 2 DM setup. Every week, Gana finds himself in areas in or around the final third where he needs to find a good forward pass and he doesn't have the skills to do that. The space is there but we're wasting those opportunities by giving them to a player who isn't good at moving the ball, especially in tight areas.

Why not drop one of Schneiderlin/Gana, ask the remaining DM to stay deep, and take a defensive downgrade at the open position to add quality in the final third? If we were to do a better job of keeping the ball in attacking areas, the defensive downgrade might not even matter.

This is when fans get on the back of both players for 'not being positive enough and passing forward'. when in truth, it's not their game.

If we can get Vlasic on the ball more we will win this. He's a real threat

Why canít Baines just put the ball in the box? He doesnít have to get to the by-line; heís got the quality to deliver a whipped ball from deep. And we actually had players in the box waiting. He thought about it and then passed it back and the move broke down.

Neville would be great in a manager's role. He's ready made for it. His managerial pointing skills are exemplary.

Koeman looking rough there. Didn't even shave.

Vlasic plays like an intelligent Deulofeu. He holds the ball really well
