Dead sexy us arnet we. The only interest we have globally, is some dodgy snake charming TV channel, that has offered 1000 pints of cobra and 4 real cobras and the obligatory park hamper.

BIG TIME. :(

[insert something about Wayne Rooneys global appeal here]
There are only two things I can't stand in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures... and the Dutch.

Gotta play Sigurdsson in the number 10 with wide players making runs either side of him and a striker in front of him. Just give it a whirl, Ronald, and see if it helps.

I think he dismissively tried that 'experiment' against Burnley, just so he could say he gave it a (token) go.

It was doomed to failure, though; Niasse was one of them (he's not really a winger) and both him and Vlasic tucked-in, with the only real width of note coming from Martina (yippee) and Baines in about the 90th minute.
Dignity does not consist in possessing honours, but in deserving them

I would go for this

                          Pickford
            Kenny Keane Jagielka Baines
                 Davies Gana Sigurdsson
                  Lookman DCL Vlasic

Stekelenburg, Holgate, Schneiderlin, Klaassen, Rooney, Sandro, Niasse

What we must do.
Play Pickford
Play Jags and Keane
Start with  Sigurdson off Calvert Lewin
Bring big Oumar on from the bench
Play Kenny at rightback

Get the starting points right above and the rest will fall into place

Everyone can see we need pace and width aside RK obvs. ....or is to egotistical to play Mirra a or Lookman or lennon as out and out wingers are against his ethos if he has such a thing .

             Pickford
Kenny Keane Jags Baines
          Morgs Davies
Lennon       Sig       Vlasic
                 DCL

Easily could put Gana in instead of Morgs. But for the sake of balance, I went for him.

The pessimist in me is predicting an awful performance where we do just enough to win, buying Koeman time to deliver bad results against Lyon, Arsenal, and Chelsea.

The optimist in me seems to have gone missing.

I think your being optimistic there, especially with the win. Hope he's gone to Holland before we play Lyon., love to see Unsworth in temp charge V Lyon and the automatic difference that would bring to the same set of players.

theres some optimism for you :D
The only real things in this reality are how perspective is perceived and eventual death...

& Unsworth kicking ass.

Your know their player who hasn't scored for about 4 years, he will score the winner

Baines? I like the way you think
Farhad Moshiri, Alisher Usmanov, Muhamed Besic, Idrissa Gana Gueye, Ademola Lookman, Oumar Niasse, David Henen, Barack Hussein Obama, Confucius... Everton Muslims growing stronger...

I think I'm going full pessimist these days.

Sat at home. 6am. Poring over an Everton forum. Drinking whiskey from an Everton mug.

In my defence, we are shit at the moment and I do have a cold.

I'm only here for the cladding/Bramley Moore Dock updates

I had a dream last night where Vlasic had a shot that went narrowly wide, the camera then panned to the crowd where Mark Pembridge had his head in his hands.

Make of that what you will.
