Don't know who went first but the players that left after we won the league in 88
Beginning of the end

Steven & Stevens went to Rangers the year after we won it in 87, think they had one more year before moving didnít they?

We let Duffy go cos he was turd at the time, plus when he was here we had the likes of Yobo, Lescott, Jagielka....all playing well and in their prime.

*Actually, I may have fucked up my dates there with all these players..... Distin, not Yobo.

I'll see your Materazzi and raise you a Dacourt

My arl fella moved Dacourt when he went. He bought a house in Paris, had that much gear me arl man needed a wagon and trailer to move him, got his trailer towed away and nearly blown up by the French Army!

dunno if it counts because I cant remember the reasoning for him leaving. But we have been shit down the left ever since we let pienaar go to spurs. Been playing number 10s there since. He wasn't the same when he came back

Nor was Baines. Once he went to Spurs that was the end of it.

We fucked the Yobo thing up. He was boss

He was a machine whe he got going for us. Them cheeky twats at Newcastle were sniffing around him too.

Kanchelskis and Speed... not that we had much choice.

If only we could have kept Parkinson fit back in the day too.

Parkinson would have been boss had it not been for his knee. Two years that kept him out for.
