We will continue to be dominated, and lose 2-1, and Koeman will be safe because we battled.

I don't want this to be true, but since we are in The Darkest Timeline...

The first shot leading up to their goal took a deflection off Sigurdsson. I don't think Pickford can be blamed for that really.

He can. Top keepers have the technique  to react incredibly quickly to save shots and parry the ball away from danger. It's all in the wrists.

28% possession and 16 shots (many of which were clear cut chances) at home against a struggling team.

And it has actually been an improvement, which says everything.
Jeff: That's not the way to win.
Kathie: Is there a way to win?
Jeff: There's a way to lose more slowly.

Hang on do I have to be supporting Koeman by saying I think I see a lot of positives out there today? Yes Arsenal have carved us open but it's the first time this season I have seen passion, commitment and a willingness to try things. I can just about take losing when the players leave it all out there.

That's the minimum we should expect.  It's good the players are finally putting that forward.

I agree with you on the players.

Good decision to take Williams off for Davies, just like I suggested when both Williams and Gana got their bookings.

More attempts on goal in 1 half than any team all season.

And there's people still defending Koeman.
You think we’ve got a good team out there then? I’m not blindly supporting Koeman, I just don’t think our team is very good. 4 players way past their best and 3 kids, 2 of which look way out of their depth. Apart from a Big Sam ‘back to basics’ approach (God no!), not sure who could come in and make this misfit group, better.

Schmeichel doing the half time analysis here. He said Pickford wasn't to blame. That's good enough for me. The deflection was pretty wicked when analysed.

We were at least putting in the effort. Strange seeing us conceding lots of chances, largely getting outplayed, lucky to be level and its been a big improvement.

Given the chasing, bookings, we'll tire, so need a good start to 2nd half.

Us at home v. Arsenal is equivalent to Huddersfield at United.

Quite.
