Young coaches going straight into management at a young age and being successful are becoming increasingly more common.

He's learning from the very best and has an extremely good reputation within the game.

Seems like he's been tipped to be a great manager and he certainly has a good backround. He'll have that guardiola education, mixed with years of playing under David Moyes.

Also, we're basing ourselves on the model of having a head coach instead of a manager. Meaning all his attention would be towards drilling the players on the training ground whilst brands builds a team suited towards a style of play Arteta needs to succeed.

I'd personally love us to take a risk on him but obviously there's massive reservations and rightly so.

Just ignore his work on the continent then brexit.

That's pretty much what everyone seems to be doing.

When they do acknowledge it they dismiss is as its only Greece and Portugal.

To be fair most people thought they were decent additions at the time.

I had some concerns myself.

If silva doesn't work out its no big deal.

We'll have a Dof in who'll find somebody else who's suited to the squad.

Personally I'm willing to write off next season to build some solid foundations.

Obviously there's a base level he'll have to achieve but if we find ourselves 10th by Christmas there should be no meltdown.

We should at least speak to Arteta

Too nervous. Send a mate to tell him we like him.

You'd think silva had come out of nowhere the way people are going on.

He's managed five teams already, won a league title and a cup.

He's not a punt, he's a risk, but it's a calculated one and there's plenty of evidence there to suggest he could be a good manager for us.

This is the thing that really fucks me off.
The Fat Cunt and Moyes were both released by their clubs on the same day.
The dogs on the street know Silva is coming to us.
West Ham were linked with many, but no one in particular, yet they announce Pelligrini as manager this morning.
Arsenal, also linked with a few, Arteta in particular, but about to announce Emery later.

We are linked with one guy, one fucking guy, who we've been in discussions with for ages, yet we fuck about and pussy foot and drag it out. We did the same with Martinez, and Koeman, and even signing Sig.

We have two gears, dead slow and stop. Any wonder it takes up ages to get a ball up the pitch.

What are you moaning about?

Its all sorted by all accounts.

Season isn't even done yet. Aslong as we've identified our main target and know he's coming that fine by me.

We've also restructured the board and appointed a new director of football who himself said the new manager will be appointed with 14 day, so there's been no pussy footing.

Let West Ham get on with ruining their club and focus on ourselves because it's been very promising over that last ten days or so.
