What exactly are the powers that be doing about the current situation? That's what I'd like to know.

I mean normally we would here little snippets of info from the likes of Andy Hunter and that, but even they're quiet.

What's happened to all those shouts that the new stadium should have at least 60,000 capacity ?

Benfica boss Rui Vitoria emerges as surprising Everton candidate as desperate Toffees eye new manager

http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/benfica-boss-rui-vitoria-emerges-11595987

This club has got no idea. The criteria for the last round of appointments was "a big name". Now it's just "Portuguese".

They are palatable now because probably most people have abandoned the delusion sometimes expressed on here last August that we were ever heading for a top 4 challenge any time soon. We never were mounting any such challenge. The realistic target was to stay ahead of the rest and creep up on 6th or even 5th place maybe in 2 years or so. The shambles the club is in has caused even that ambition to be binned probably for a couple of years to come. Some of the so-called unpalatable names are well suited to sorting out our squad.

Load of shite on Twitter about Allardyce again

Fortunately all the shite on the media is just that, shite. It matters not at all what names are being shoved at us by the media cowboys. The real matter is, as others have said, what the Everton board are up to. The silence is understandable if nothing is imminent, but it is killing the supporters.

You've said this, or words to this effect, 79 times in the last week. We get it.

Least you're finally on board. Right all along. Making a bit of a habit of this aren't I.

That Elton Walsby (does he know anything?) tweeted at virtually the same time that big sam was back on.
I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.
