Fonseca will be a terribly risky choice. He surely knows near to nothing about the PL and how difficult it is to adjust (Ask Pep). He knows absolutely nothing about Everton players. It will take him until January to realise what a shambles it is, and by then we could be in dire straights. At least Silva knows the league, but he ain't coming so Welcome Sam for me.

Allardyce odds drifting back out now, Fonseca will be odds on soon

Means nothing like, just seems to be awful lot of money getting chucked on Fonseca

I'd love to know what 'knowing the Prem' actually means. There's fuck all to know. There's six good teams, a few impressive smaller clubs and about 10 clubs whose players can't string 5 passes together. That's it. There's a million foreign managers and players here. They have more than figured out this simplistic, obvious league.
Jeff: That's not the way to win.
Kathie: Is there a way to win?
Jeff: There's a way to lose more slowly.

Jesus. We're teetering on a knife edge here. A bright, progressive Champions League manager whose team play some excellent football or Sam Allardyce.

Talk about arriving at a crossroads!

We all know where this is ending... hopes get raised then 100 pages of Allarydce fume in the next few days!

Means fuck all, just ask the likes of Pochetino and that

All the best managers in this league are foreign. Hands down. We live in a cosmopolitan world, where the Prem has massively cornered the global TV market. It holds no secrets. Managers coming here know exactly what the script is.

Quite a few so called twitter itk's are leaning towards Fonseca, Allardyce basically has the job but we're not prepared to hire his vast backroom staff as well, which is holding the deal up, he won't budge and neither will we, bit of a stand off.

This job is big samuels if he wants it

Do people really think Everton would have re-opened talks and he would have agreed to it if he was only an option on a short list?

The issues last time was his staff and length of contract.

They are the only stumbling blocks

Meant to be on the same yearly wage as Koeman
