And to be clear, the jury is out on Silva, for me.

I'm not sure I like how he was clearly chosen way before Brands, whose job is should be to make these decisions. Perhaps Brands has given his approval and would have chosen him anyway?

However of most of the names mentioned, he's likely the best and least risky option we've got, so I can see the logic in the decision.

Think if hed have said no way, wed have changed course.

Id guess weve said we have identified Silva and asked if Brands thinks hes a good choice.

Any CV is better than no CV?

Silva's: Two Premier League clubs, one relegated and one heading for relegation over a a nine month period

That's mental!

Arsenal hiring Arteta - that's mental?

Just ignore his work on the continent then brexit.

I never thought Id dislike Arteta. But @BlueForYous incoherent ramblings kicking the tits out of something so bad that it would make @KoemansNumberTens blush is really turning me off Arteta.

You should be ashamed sir.

That's pretty much what everyone seems to be doing.

When they do acknowledge it they dismiss is as its only Greece and Portugal.

Can you give me a reason sir as to why they've never grown

I think I read that too.

I'm sure it mentioned Glenn Hoddle and how he used to piss the players off by constantly showing them his skills in training and how they weren't as good as him. Then one day Tim Sherwood fronted him and asked him how many League Champions medals he had, which shut him up.

Yes it did

No, not an opinion. A ridiculous, unsubstantiated rant.

Hoddle was a great player but a prick of a manager who could never see any further than Spurs

Disagree. Think he was a good, forward thinking manager, ahead of his time in this country, and obviously his 'alternative beliefs' were what cost him. But as a manager, he was playing 3 at the back in a fluid system with England well before other managers.

Silva managed Hull and Watford in the Premier League

Get the connection?

Neither has Arteta.
