Happy to see pace supporting rooney and one of a handful of people happy to see Mc Carthy who I still think has a future here

We are putting the effort in and offering little. We are closing down well which is a minor improvement than of late.  Our shape looks a little better. The new lad looks quite composed and Mc Carthy looks fit enough

We've got better as the game has gone on. Actually unlucky not to go level for a while. Some real positives for certain tonight.

A positive performance and a decent start for Unsworth

The young lad looks the part, he's composed in possession, thought Mc Carthy looked fine first half and we looked an actual threat second half. Nice for Calvert Lewin to get the goal, the lad's earned one.

I'm more worried about Davies form at the moment than Rooney's think he needs a break and hopefully having Baningime and Mc Carthy as options will allow him to have a break.

Yeah he's going to be sound but he's very headless chicken this season.  He's trying much too hard and making too many mistakes
